We’ve spent the last few days touring Tennessee and hiking the Smokey Mountains. Such a beautiful part of the country-We don’t get views like we’ve seen back home in the corn belt of the Midwest. I’m sure folks who have live in these surroundings all of their lives might take for granted the beauty that they are surrounded by. I know that if I got to wake up everyday and see the mountains, it would never get old.
It’s been a LONG TIME since the Mrs. and I have had time away without the kids or the dogs. It’s a strange feeling looking in the backseat of the truck and not seeing people or pets. A nice change of pace, but certainly glad it’s only temporary.
