Spring, 2026 Stack – This is one of those stacks where I, seriously, don’t know which one to grab BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL INCREDIBLE READS!!!
I just finished The Culture Code: Game Changer! I’m in the process of condensing all of my underlines, highlights & margin notes and plan to post a full review – Stay tuned…
Tribe of Mentors is my current grab-and-go book: The chapters are all short & punchy, nice to have on the table for a quick read. I’m grabbing underlines here and there. Ferris has a wide range of people he interviews, so I admit to having a tendency of skipping some people who’s interests are far from mine.
I’ve already read DEF Field Manual, Small Unit Leadership, Rediscover Catholicism and The Leaders Bookshelf. I’ve got these in the stack as re-reads. Chapters 7 & 8 of The Leaders Bookshelf is one of my favorite re-reads: Admiral Stavridis discusses building a library and his thoughts on reading & leading.
I’m sticking with My Share of the Task, but it’s been a slog so far early in the book. I do enjoy reading biographies, but I’m anxiously waiting to get out of General McChrystal’s early years an more into the meat of the book. I’m going to give it a few more reads, and if it doesn’t start ramping up, I’m going to move on.
