The Joliet Junior College AEC Construction Survey team has been getting some hands-on work using different measuring devices.
Sounds like a pretty boring assignment, right? Really, who doesn’t know how to measure something…?
Using a 100′ tape, calipers, tree tapes & line levels takes practice. Until you’ve done it, it’s hard to appreciate the level of detail needed to get a good, accurate measurement.
