This photo was taken at last April’s Community Emergency Response Team academy in Saratoga. Academies provide hands-on, emergency training to people who live and work in Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, Cupertino, Campbell, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. The next academy starts Oct. 18 in Los Gatos.
