I had a chance to train with Lt. Oots this afternoon at the new Plainfield Emergency Management Agency headquarters construction site. We put the PEMA drone up and took some job progress pictures & videos.
Maintaining a level of proficiency with any skill that we possess requires repetitions, and it takes dedicated, deliberate training to achieve it. I never take for granted the skills that I have, and without deliberate practice, those skill sets can quickly fade. Today was another great reminder of how much I don’t know, but getting reps afforded me the chance to gain some confidence without equipment-Definitely time well spent
